Vote us out? Are you nuts?

>>>Update Well that was just stupid…talk about a waste of time. The vote was 403 - 3……against pulling out. How the hell do propositions like this even get that far? That was ridiculous…and those three that voted for it need to be ousted from the country…send them to Iraq.

Not as stupid as all that, in that it forced the politicians that have been grandstanding to put up or shut up. Even Rep. Murtha voted against it, and he’s been whining about the conduct of the war for months. The next time he steps to the mic, he can’t demand that the President, “Immediately redeploy” our forces with a shred of credibility.

And thank you for your service, Surefire!

  2. Sure Fire Says:

That’s true Mike, from the article, it was Murtha’s idea for the whole vote, but then after he loses, turns around and says that the GOP made it out to look bad, so he had to vote eagainst his own stinkin prop. Oh well…I guess some people never learn.

And it is my pleasure servin my country, so thank you for your support.

  3. SK Says:

I totally agree with Mike. This was all about not giving anybody time to spin what they’ve said into something else. It forced everybody to go on record instead of just more grandstanding, bashing, and flat out lying.

These libs don’t even have the b*lls to back up their blather with a yea vote! Even Mr. Murtha who brought up the cut & run bill voted against his own stance! Losers. We all know they are grandstanding about the war in order to bring down the Bush administration and get votes. They don’t stand for ANYTHING but getting back into power. If they have to destroy the country to do that, obviously they will.
