Hey guys, chad here. Sure Fire has reported that his laptop is KIA. This is a complete travesty for us all. We’re still trying to figure out the next step, in what we should do to help him out.
I just wanted to give you this heads up. Might be some time before we can get more posts and sweet pics on his photoblog.

American Soldier has eaten yet anothere IED for breakfast and is still kickin it in Iraq. He is currently unable to go out on mission, but he’s with his troops which is where he wanted to be right now, so he’s still a freakin animal. Send prayers his way and towards his wife and children as they cope with his injuries. This guy is officially the most war hardened sunuva- I know(sorta). I mean…who takes that many blows and still goes out to kick some more ass?!?! That’s awesome…and another affirmation of why he’s a hero of mine.
God speed AS…your fight is an inspiration!

Almost got blowed up the other night…it’s all good though…noone hurt and minimal damage, so these wannabe terrorists were more along the lines of jokers because they suck at it.
It was after sunset too so that just made the whole thing that much more annoying in that there was no way we were gonna find a trigger man unless they started shooting at us, or something else stupid like that. We just drove on with our bad selves and called it a night.
It’s so odd the stark contrast in attacks that we see over here. One attack you hear about actually caused some damage, while others are so pathetic it’s a wonder why these people try. Diversions? Sometimes…other times it’s just pathetic. Personally I think there are two enemies here, but I won’t mention them on public space. Don’t wanna step on any toes here. Although…we kinda do that every day here. Dirty job…someone’s gotta do it.
I’ve heard from others that one way they cope with bein over here is to just look at their pay checks. While I believe that getting tax free bucks is pretty neat…if not meager, there’s gotta be a bigger motivation to carry on than some relatively terrible underpaid check. There’s more. Has to be.
I already have mine. Had it from the start. Aint scared. Like LT Spears said, “Yer already dead, so there’s no point in being afraid.”
Motivation = …

Update » So there’s a new update. Too many strange faces gettin into the photoblog. Since we know all the regulars know the login info, thats fine. Anyone else interested in the photoblog can use the contact form explaining why they’d be interested in seeing the photos of Sure Fire in iraq. There’s no good stuff like blood and gore, but if your excuse of why you should see em sells me, then I’ll grant you access.
Update » I’ve upgraded the install of WordPress here, so anyone who now registers will get the email. I wasn’t very clear before, but when you get the email with a password, you need to login here first, to find out the login and pass for the photoblog.
Hi guys. Chad here. I’ve set up a photoblog with some of SF’s best photos of life in the sandbox. Due to OPSEC, the photos have been password protected. If you’d like to login to see the photos, please register here.
Once logged in, the info will be available to you on the Dashboard. Be sure that the email you get for your password, doesn’t end up in the spam box.
Update » There seems to be a problem with the auto-password sender. It’s not sending out the email, at least not when I do a test register. Go ahead and register anyhow, and I’ll forward the login info to the registered email address.
But please drop me a comment, and let me know if you have received your password email. That way I can know that it is working correctly, and the problem isn’t on my end. Thanks.

A good friend over at Medicthoughts.com has a real life situation that could use some strong prayer.
Recently, his lady friend has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and is suffering from random loses of consciousness. Please send diligant prayers her way as she fights through this, and for everyone else involved for strength in this time of trial.

Hey everyone, just checkin in. Sorry it’s been so long. There really is nothing too big goin on. Well…..almost nuthin.
Just a little bit ago, my Team Leader (31B-TL) was playin some basketball with the guys and was TOTALLY FOULED by a certain someone….and in turn lost his balance and went down on his arm and shattered his arm into a billion pieces…..
THE TRUTH: They were playin b-ball, he lost his “D” and when he fell onto his extended arm, his elbow was broken. He is currently being taken to a place where the medics AREN’T looking in the books to see how to treat him. A REAL hospital. There is the possibility of surgery and the placement of pins or plates, and that would send him back to the states. So send some prayers his way that there is a quick recovery with no major damage. He just reenlisted for another 6 long years so he’s gonna need that arm for salutin’ n’ shootin’!
Well….aint nuthin happnin around this joint…same ole same ole….never been shot at…aint been blown up yet…..so uh…that’s about it. Keep the prayers comin folks, they’re doin wonders. Thanks again folks, you all rock. Thanks to everyone for the letters and everything.
