The Never Ending Pit of Self Inflicted Despair
08.05.06If you think about it, inducing one’s own despair is one of the slowest, and worst ways of suicide. You are consistently bogging yourself down with worries, sorrows, and …just shit, that for however much more shit you bog yourself down with…you sink that much lower into your pit of depair.
Self pity solves nothing and will only be good in helping to bury you deeper every day….every hour. I’ve been in some shit once or twice and I know exactly how it feels to “over think” something. To sit and dwell on it so long, that you’ve stripped away all possible good outcomes and have been left with nothing but the negative. And then, to sit and broil in it. Destroying your own character…your personality.
Self pity is Satan’s greatest tool and he has been using it to destroy someone close to me for the past few years. It’s gotten so bad, that I fear there is no return, and a tragedy is imminent. I can only forsee a crash and burn despite any advice or help offered. All assistance being rejected, they have resigned themselves to the worst fate…the slowest suicide.
Please pray for this person as it is currently their only hope, for they have abandoned all others in a defeatist’s mindset.

Yes, prayers will be said. Have faith. Perhaps all they really need is a wake-up call. That may come in something small and insignificant to us, but huge to them. Don’t lose hope.

SF, prayers are all I can really offer for your friend, so they’re on the way.
You on the other hand, had a package mailed today. I brought you a little gift from Vegas.
On another note folks, there is a new troll hitting all the milblogs and signing as peter sampson. He has hit AS and milblogging.com as well as being really low down and going over to Jack Army. He left his vile comments for those who are on their way to the sand and had asked for supportive comments to print out once there. If possible, please go over to Jack Army and make sure there are real comments left for our guys.

May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do you, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, thrust into hell satan and the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.
This prayer gives great comfort and is especially powerful when dealing with the dark forces. The battle here is figurative I realize the person you are petitioning for may not be fighting anyone other than self. When I pray for Dreadcow and all of you over there I shall bear in mind yer friend and yer loving devotion to try to help him/her. God bless you and please stay safe. Love to you and yer men.
