Pass The Brass

So this week we’ve decided to test out how much of an animal I can be when it comes to puttin in an 80 hour work week. I just pulled a 36 hour shift the other day. This shit’s insane! I get the comments “Are you ever out of uniform” Never really seems like it. I’m at my job entirely too much it seems. That just may prove a bad thing. I swear I got more of a ball n’ chain thing goin on than if I were married. My job’s sure more demanding. Heh.

So I’m talkin’ to a buddy over in Colorado Springs …that’s in Colorado mind you, and he’s just ’bout talked me into deciding to try a stint down there for a bit. The housing market is down pretty much everywhere and with my VA Loan, I’m pretty much set for whatever house I wanna get. His offer to provide me a job and a place to stay right off the bat is pretty enticing. He lives an hour and a half from Pike’s Peak…which is even more enticing. Heh.

So I’ve been askin’ alot of questions bout good ole Colorado and seein’ if it will be as great as I currently think it would be to head down there for a bit. The winter’s are a lot more mild compared to Idaho’s “Blizzard Every Two”, so that may prove a good area to get a bike. Plenty of mountain roads to cruise as well.

But yet again my whole indecisiveness is kickin’ my arse here, but it does sound thrilling to just go for it. Kind of an adventure really. I’ve got a whole hell of alotta options open for me fresh outta the military so I’m really kind of excited at the prospect of just headin’ somewhere else for a bit. I think it’d be good for me to head out and fend for myself for a few years, see how I do…recover if necessary, haha! I’ll always have a place in my heart for Idaho, and that’s really the only thing keepin’ me on the fence right now. I figure if I keep lookin’ into Colorado I just might get sold here real soon.

This man needs change….badly.
