About PTB
Welcome to Passthebrass.com where you will find the thoughts and adventures of a lower ranking soldier in the U.S. Army. You may find a lot of things on this site confusing due to Operational Security(OPSEC) not allowing certain information to be posted.
Sure Fire is the author of the website. He is an MP who is stationed in North Carolina with one tour in Irak under his belt after a year spent in S. Korea. He joined the Army thinking it would be a good way to jump start a career in law enforcement. Little did he realize just how different the MP was from the civilian law enforcement. This site is meant to follow Sure Fire throughout his years in service and to catalog his thoughts and most of the events that have affected him.
Don’t expect much political babble on this site. Sure Fire believes that there are plenty of other sites commenting on the politics of our nation and others. This site is more of an adventure log with some emotions plugged in here and there and a healthy dose of comedy applied as well. Humor is a very large part of this site as well. Sure Fire tends to poke fun at the Army a lot.
Every now and then you may find course language as Sure Fire likes to post what he is really thinking. If you are offended by any of this, please feel free to write me and I’ll see what I can do to censor myself. But please be kind as alot of my stuff is what I feel and if sugar coating is what you want, then that’s what the AP and CNN are for.
