Accessories

Remoil - Spray can of fine lube oil. Made by Remington. Try Walmart. For cleaning weapons. “Hey guy’s check this out! *flick…..FWOOOOSSH!* AAIIIEEEEE!!! …whoops.”

Dish Towel - For general purposes. Mostly for weapons maintanence, but we also lack paper towels in the latrines…=) “Hey dude, the commander just put a company policy…no more rat tails.” “DANG IT! There goes my fun for the year.”

Wire Brushes - Looks like a tooth brush with wood handle. For cleaning weapons. Stainless steel is the brush of choice as it does not leave any marks behind. If you can find them in a small hand brush form, like a floor scrubber or somethin. That would help on the larger areas of rust. “What large area’s of rust? That thing is SPOTle- oh…those large areas…whoops.”

Gun magazines - Special Weapons, Handgun, NRA magazines, Guns & Ammo, ShotgunNews…anything that covers guns n stuff. “WHAT THE?!?! That aint no gun mag!!”

Snacks

Starkist Tuna Packs*Lunch To Go - There’s a couple different ways they pack it, one’s in a small tray and the other’s a cute lil can thing. Either way is much appreciated. These will help to substitue the stomach devouring MRE’s. “Studies show that a diet rich in tuna is very healthy for you.” “Really?” “No, but I had you going there for a second.”

Lickey Chewies - Mostly chewies. I like the chewables…Mike n Ikes are teh bomb and Starburst are good for distributing to the pan handleing IP’s and little kids. “Here’s yer stinkin chocolate!” *wings a couple starburst at a bunch of kids* Just kidding, but they love those things…so do the GI’s.

Beef Jerky - Peppered, Teriyaki, Smoked

Chocolates - I’m pretty partial to the crisped rice filled chocolates like Crunch bars n such. Those Hershey Grab bags make for good take out candies as it offers a variety to the local populace. “Maybe this time they’ll learn to start saying ‘mista! mista! Mr. Goodbar!’” *wings a handful of bite size hershey’s at a group of kids on bicycles*

Salted Peanuts - Individuallly packaged. For taking out in the field. The Planters ones are teh greatest, and they come in different varieties. SK hit it right on the spot. Tanks. “Dude! Stop feeding the dogs…they keep running under the tires!”

Mostly snacks that can be packed around. Trail mix is a great idea simply because we don’t get to go to the chow hall alot due to missions. We need them nutrients…and the MRE’s….well, they speak for themselves. Could you eat processed and preserved meats for a year? It does numbers on your digestive system. =)

Hey there… it’s my understandin of the postal regs that we aren’t allowed to send anything in an *aerosol* spray can ~ does that come in a non-aerosol can?

Just happened to notice that, thought i’d throw it out there.

  3. Chad Says:

I haven’t heard that, but I woulden’t be surprised. I brought my box already packed, so they didn’t know. And I did mark on the customs sheet that remoil was in the box, but i didnt mention aerosol. maybe we can sneak it by em that way.
